Civil Works at NRL Station 2
Following the successful completion of civil works at NRL Station 6 in Bwari, Cleanergy Innovation Ltd engaged Blue Sea Services Limited to execute a parallel civil works contract at NRL Station 2 in Gaduwa, Abuja. This concurrent engagement is a direct reflection of Cleanergy Innovation's confidence in Blue Sea Services Limited's technical competence, project management capability, and ability to deliver to the high engineering standards required for energy infrastructure civil works. NRL Station 2 in Gaduwa presented its own distinct site conditions and engineering requirements, which Blue Sea Services Limited's team assessed and addressed through a tailored civil works delivery plan. The scope of civil works at this station included detailed site investigation and clearing, the construction of reinforced concrete equipment foundations and structural bases engineered to carry the specific loads and vibration profiles of the NRL station equipment, the construction of control and monitoring room structures with appropriate floor loading capacity, drainage systems designed to protect the station equipment from water ingress and to manage surface water in the surrounding compound, the construction of internal access roads and hardstandings to operational requirements, security fencing and access control infrastructure, external lighting, and all associated finishing works. Blue Sea Services Limited applied the same rigorous quality control processes and construction methodologies at Gaduwa as were employed at Bormi Resources, Bwari, ensuring consistency of quality and compliance with Cleanergy Innovation's engineering specifications across both station projects. The site team maintained detailed construction records, material testing documentation, and inspection reports throughout the project, providing a complete quality assurance trail for the client's records. The successful and timely completion of both NRL Station civil works contracts has established Blue Sea Services Limited as a valued and trusted civil works partner for Cleanergy Innovation Ltd's ongoing energy infrastructure development programme in the Federal Capital Territory and beyond.
