Blue Sea Services Limited was contracted by Cleanergy Innovation Ltd to execute civil works at NRL Station 6 located within the Bormi Resources facility in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory. This project formed part of Cleanergy Innovation's broader energy infrastructure development programme and required a precise and technically competent civil engineering contractor capable of working within an active energy facility environment. The scope of civil works at NRL Station 6 encompassed site preparation and earthworks including clearing, grading, and compaction of the station footprint; the construction of reinforced concrete structural foundations and plinths designed to the load-bearing specifications of the energy infrastructure to be installed; the construction of concrete equipment bases, control room structures, and ancillary civil elements associated with the NRL station installation; drainage works including surface water channels, soakaways, and outfall structures to manage stormwater around the station site; the construction of access roads, hardstanding areas, and paved surfaces to facilitate equipment access and personnel movement within the station compound; perimeter fencing and security gate installation; and the completion of all associated external works required to bring the station site to a fully operational, safe, and compliant condition. Blue Sea Services Limited executed all civil works in strict compliance with Cleanergy Innovation's engineering specifications and applicable Nigerian and international standards for energy facility construction. The company's site team maintained close coordination with Cleanergy's engineering and project management team throughout, ensuring that civil works were completed in sequence with the overall station installation programme and that any interface issues between civil and mechanical or electrical works were identified and resolved promptly. The project was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of the client, providing the robust civil infrastructure foundation required for the operational commencement of NRL Station 6 at the Bormi Resources facility.
